Glamourous ladies of London rejoice – Elie Saab has today announced that he will be opening a store in this fair city of ours, a four-storey fairytale wonder on Mayfair’s Bruton Street. Via the wonders of Google we have estimated that this is an exact 10 minute walk from our office. 8 minutes in a cab. Perfectly place, then, for us to live our all our bridal/princess-based fantasies during our lunch breaks. Aren’t those shop staff lucky? It’s going to be a big one – 800 metres squared to be exact – and will house their ready-to-wear, fragrance and accessories lines, as well as a super exclusive (we presume) couture salon. Designed in collaboration with RDAI, it promises to “encapsulate the ELIE SAAB trademark style: a fusion of femininity, luxury and modernism.” It opens in January, so make sure to hide away a few of those Christmas pennies…
