Maxwell Osborne, Lisa PhillipsDKNY have partnered up with New Museum in a new project to support women artists. The project, aptly named ‘The New Women’s Project’ will support commissions and exhibitions by five female artists this year. To celebrate the project DKNY hosted a VIP dinner in Miami. Which got me thinking about Christmas dinner (only 21 days away now). I doubt the DKNY dinner was anything like my usual Christmas dinner. There was probably no turkey or Christmas crackers with terrible jokes. I’m sure nobody got ridiculously drunk and told their uncle they were sad his first wife died because they much preferred her to his second wife. I’m sure nobody got so drunk they pulled the Christmas tree down, missing the fireplace by mere centimeters. In fact, I’m sure it was a lovely, civilised event and everybody had lots of fun. Nothing like Christmas dinner at my house.
