The Fendi woman is rich. She has to be, to afford the kind of work packed into the clothes that Karl Lagerfeld cooks up, or the bags Silvia Fendi whip-stitches together, this time festooned with floral appliqués too. The bag straps, incidentally, are available to purchase today if you want to spice up your life right away. The big story at Fendi was smocking, and seaming, and ruching, and bubbly volume, the models striding out like futuristic milkmaids. Which is a look we can all love, and will certainly milk for all its worth.
