This looked ravaged. Almost shipwrecked and washed up on a desert island. But not in a Madonna Swept Away shipwreck way. This may have looked shipwrecked, but unlike that travesty, wasn’t a shipwreck. Think layers of nude chiffon sewn together in an almost ad hoc fashion, ruffle fronted and trailing, almost falling off the body, like a messed up Courtney Love. Apparently they found themselves drawn to Fiona Apple, “a reflection of keeping things raw and personal in the midst of growth”, which seems rather apt on the heels of their recent LVMH victory, and something they managed to achieve effortlessly.
