Hammering drums opened the Edun show, a portent of tribalism to come. It was, sort of, but nothing too heavy handed, creative director Danielle Sherman focused on fringe for her summer 2016 outing. A few columns of fringe flanked the catwalk, reappearing on jumpsuits and trouser suits and a few bouncy, stringy dresses. Decoration was pared-down, block colour in black, red and a burnt ochre. The fringe even frothed on the shoes, stomped-back black-and-white loafers and block-heeled numbers. Fringe benefits? It will if you bag this stuff.
