The summer (can we call it that?) may nearly be over but this doesn’t mean that it’s the end of eyewear season. Just announced is the partnership between Elie Saab and Safilo and their plans to release a new eyewear collection in January 2017, in exclusive eyewear specialists as well as in Elie Saab boutiques worldwide. Naturally with everything Elie Saab does the glasses will be at “the highest levels of sophistication” using `”the finest materials and details”. Luisa Delgado, CEO of Safilo has said “we are delighted to work with Mr Elie Saab” and we are delighted that they are working together on some excellent eyewear, no doubt. My only problem is that I have been blessed with perfect vision, are lenseless glasses still cool?
