Amazing fabrics! Here we are chez M. Ackermann, a talented designer reissuing the line of menswear through lo-slung trousers shaped a bit like a toreador’s and long silk coats. The supremely reed-like models had their waists bound three, four times in animal-buckle belts and beautiful printed obis. All wore elongated pointed ballet-like pumps. There were shirts, open at the neck, and embroided with elaborate patterns. It was a sumptuous affair. It felt special.
