Junya fans – they are legion – will delight in the patchwork shirts of gingham and African tribal cottons and the new-style Levi’s jeans with orange slightly angled pockets and the trenches and macs and cropped jackets worn inside out with even more patchwork tribal prints. It’s less suiting this season more shopping. AW15 suffered, in the show, at least, from an excess of tailoring. Great if you wear tailoring. Not if you don’t. But next spring sees more Junya hits reconsidered and reissued. Another reason to invest in one of our favourite Japanese creatives.
