Leather, whatever the weather. That’s the story of Hermes, every season. There was a leather t-shirt, a goatskin trouser, a couple of jackets in slithery stripes of water snake. That Hermes’ homme head honcho Véronique Nichanian can layer all that stuff up and make it look lovely and luxe even for the sweatier climes – like the el scorrrrrrchio temperatures of Paris right now – takes talent. It’s completely convincing contemporary luxury. That’s what everyone wants to wear.
