Oooh, it’s a bit trippy here in the world of Martin Margiela homeware. The coffee table looks wonky, the sofas are either shrunken tiny or made from armchairs stuck together. It’s not normal, I promise you. The door over there isn’t a door at all, it’s just painted on, trompe l’oeil they call it, and the real door is held open with an ostrich egg. The rugs got footprints on it and I could have sworn they brought over the champagne in a paint bucket. Hmm. Maybe I had a glass too many. I think I need a lie-down. Sofa is quite comfy, actually. I think I might stay here for a while.
