“Upon meeting a young Afar warrior who sported the dried testicles of his many victims on his belt Wilfred Thesiger remarked that the young man reminded him of a ‘self-concious Etonian who had just won his school colours for cricket’."
Any press release that mentions testicles speaks of good things to come, especially one that also then links the aforementioned testes to cricket. And raving because that was quite fun apparently. Obviously Patrick Grant put it much better in his pre show speech. It’s all based on the wardrobe of explorer Wilfred Thesiger, navy with bright pink and yellow and set to Pink Panther type music. It’s the sound of a sixties crime caper. The boys even saunter in a Pink Panther fashion while wearing brilliantly cut suits and coats and knitwear and just about everything you would ever want to wear.
