INDIA KNIGHT ON DAVID BECKHAM IN THE SUNDAY TIMES

I am sitting in the lounge waiting for my train announcement to ping over the intercom on route to Paris Couture and reading The Sunday Times and am compelled to agree with India. Why didn’t you put David Beckham in the GB Olympics team? You muppets!!! (People who watch football use this language. My brother and my husband and my son who has been scouted to play professional football, all experts I tell you!) I too like India Knight, am no officianardo of the game but after years of watching my son on a frosty pitch every weekend and my dad forcing us, with the curtains closed every Saturday to avoid glare on the TV to watch endless matches as a child (hated Match of the Day), I know something and really would it have killed them to put him in the team? Again I say Muppets!!!! Love you David!!
