Ok so here’s a round up of our favourite most gorgeous fashion forward looks from last night’s Emmy awards. It has been noted in the office that one of the big stories was YELLOW, thus prompting Garth to have a minor meltdown about his lack of daffodil hued dresses. Our favourite, of course, was Nicole Kidman looking entirely radiant in friend of 10 Antonio Berardi.
Nicole, sister, you are coming for me hard in this Antonio Berardi s/s13 look, love it. The blue crystal numbers were our favourite in the show and seeing them come to life on a real (well not a model, still a goddess) woman is very exciting.
Julianne Moore wearing Christian Dior a/w 12 Haute Couture – the simplicity and tone of this dress very much flatters Ms Moore’s ultra pale complexion. I like that she hasn’t gone with a stiff hollywood ‘do, much more modern.
We weren’t too aware of this young actress until IMDB-ing, but now she’s wearing Louis Vuitton, of course we bloody are. And with sparkling but subtle Fred Leighton jewels to boot. Michelle Dockery has arrived!
Ms. Liu served mettalic Atelier Versace, resembling some sort of gorgeous award herself.
Elizabeth Moss is quite the opposite of the timid little thing we’re addicted to watching on Mad Men, after a thorough bleaching and bit of a booby number from those clever Dolce & Gabbana boys has WERKED wonders.
Claire Danes is *with child*, our favourite phrase for referencing pregnancy. In this Lanvin number she actually looks amazing and glowing – as the *with child* should. I wish more actresses would choose this Lanvin as it’s entirely fab.
And finally, Girls star Lena Dunham blossoms into womanhood with a neat little do, and rather mature floor length floral, from who else? Prada.
Emilia Clarke stars in my favourite ever show in the world, Game of Thrones, as Daenerys, and is usually clad in a grubby leather bra and hot pants or the like. She looks vastly improved in this amazing Chanel number – probably my favourite look of the evening.
Now back to your scheduled fashion week programming. We’re tearing ourselves away. Honestly we should be on the E channel. Someone send us for a teeth bleaching, quick!
