The Screen Actors Guild Awards Red Carpet Round

THE SCREEN ACTOR’S GUILD AWARDS RED CARPET ROUND UP. PART 1.

And so the awards season continues with another carpet made of red and filled with favulous ladies who can not only act but also dress. Or have stylists who can dress them. Either way they look favulous in their favulous fashions. Nicole Kidman continues her reign  as head alien princess in Vivienne Westwood, baring flesh in the form of a thigh. Classy. And on the baring flesh note, Nina Dobrev, hot in hot pink Elie Saab, flashed rib cage, while Julianne Moore goes down the more traditional route of cleavage in practically slashed to the navel Chanel, which is also the same colour as her skin, which is making us intensely jealous of her skin colour. Whereas as we are equally pale, our skin would be referred to as grey rather than cream, its texture that of sandpaper rather than duchesse satin. Anyway, moving on to Jessica Chastain (in Alexansder McQueen), Jennifer Lawrence (in Christian Dior), Tina Fey (in Oscar de la Renta) and Kerry Washington (in Rodarte). All are serving us glamourous bare shouldered realness on top and fishtail eleganza on the bottom. All look rather like mermaids. All should be cast in a real person Little Mermaid remake. They could have a cat fight over who gets to bring Prince Eric to the SAG’s next year. We could place bets on who’d win. Jessica Lange aka Sister Jude is doing her best glamorous lady with crazy eyes we all want to grow up to be in J. Mendel. And lets not forget Clare Danes, in Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci, working an asymmetric bare flesh look. Right shoulder, left thigh, it’s all too much to take in. Favulous!
