YAYOI KUSAMA AUTOBIOGRAPHY
‘I am deeply terrified by the obsessions crawling over my body, whether they come from within me or from outside. I fluctuate between feelings of reality and unreality. I, myself, delight in my obsessions’. Not the words of our very own also rather possessed Natalie Dembinska but Yayoi Kusama in fact, which we’ve just retrieved from an engrossing press release that Tate Publishings kindly just sent over. All in aid of the artists biography which has been re-released and re-packaged. Long after Kusama’s retrospective at their Turbine Hall site- yes, but if you somehow missed it in the gift shop during the shows initial furore, be sure to make it top of your September list of purchases. Yes- we make one every month for pay day, and yes we’ve spent pretty much everything by week 2.
