MARIOS SCHWAB: LONDON FASHION WEEK S/S 14

As we wait in the Top Shop tent with the overwhelming smell of cut wet grass filling my nasal passages and twinkly music playing in the background with us all waiting with baited breath to see what Marios has to offer this season. As the show starts I can’t tell you how much I adored the pieces that came out one after the other. Considered, precise, body con sheath with tiny rose gold staple details holding pleats and seams in place and acting as jewel like detailing along the tops of splits on the thigh and on the darting at the bust. Giving a sensuality without a hint of vulgarity. Traces of ink blot blead lines from the bust to the hems of the dresses gave a sensuality to each piece and the rose coloured bracelets and jewellery were perfect. What a brilliantly focused collection can’t wait to get my order in along with everyone who was backstage congratulating this unassuming talent. The perfect balance of wantable and imaginative.
