PAUL SMITH: THE WOOLMARK COMPANY COLLABORATION
Paul has teamed up with The Woolmark company, giving Australian Merino wool a high-end rep. Lots of techy new fabrics have become available over the years and filtered into collections, but Paul has often prefered to stick with the more traditional materials. Nothing wrong with that. If it is not broken, do not fix it, as they say. I think. As we know, natural fibres are good for planet Earth. They’re renewable, biodegradable, wear well and feel nice. Paul won’t just be using your average wool, though. The clothes will feature ‘Cool Wool’ – developed to be lightweight and breathable – good news for the ever travelling Paul Smith client. The brands have been confirmed to collaborate for Spring/Summer 14 and Autumn/Winter 14.
