CHRISTIAN DIOR: BACKSTAGE GIRLS, PARIS FASHION WEEK A/W 14
Raf continues to make us giddy with excitement at Dior- as he twists and somehow sort of sharpens the houses established codes. We loved the strong tailoring message this season- the simple ways in which it was made modern, as in Julia Nobis’ opening exit, where shorn off sleeves, and long gloves that reached the elbow perfectly framed her tatts. Yes- we didn’t quite grab a shot- but the image of it is etched in our heads. Another new shoe to obsess over too. This time one that seemed torn between being a kitten heel and trainer. A strange, brilliantly modern touch- that came off especially pop when worn with super bright furs, which hung over several girls arms in the opening of the line up.
