LOUIS VUITTON: TRAVEL BOOK
It’s no secret that travel is something very close to the heart of Louis Vuitton. In light of its heritage, the brand is releasing a series of books from two internationally acclaimed artists, Italian illustrator Lorenz Mattotti and Japanese manga artist Jiro Taniguchi. (Here’s a piece of Ten trivia: Vincenza has always wanted to be a cartoon artist, that’s what first sparked his interest in magazines.) Vuitton invited these artists to explore places unfamiliar to them – Vietnam for Mattotti and Venice for Taniguchi (pictured) draw what they see, a bit like visual diary. In addition to this, Vuitton will be hosting an exhibition of Taniguchi’s work at the Espace Culturel Venezia, launching during the Venice Biennale this month.
Vietnam by Lorenzo Mattotti and Venice by Jiro Taniguchi are available from Louis Vuitton.
