Louis Vuitton: Frank Gehry Windows

Celebrating the opening of the Fondation Louis Vuitton, world famous architect Frank Gehry has turned his hand to a spot of window dressing for the brand. Winner of the 1989 Pritzker Prize (the architecture equivalent of the Pulitzer FYI), Gehry has devised a set of wooden sculptures cloaked in shimmering bronze and copper, which beautifully set off the houses iconic monogram in it’s most classic form. Set to be unveiled in September, these dynamic hulls will not only contain luggage, but mannequin inhabitants attired in Nicolas Ghesquiere’s debut designs for the brand. Without getting too deep and meaningful, we’re interpreting it as a bit of a metaphor for new horizons. Passers-by will also be able to view exclusive content when they scan the displays with the Louis Vuitton pass app, which we’re downloading right now. Obvs.
