See backstage pictures from Jason Wu’s spring/summer 2015 runway show.
I’m reminded of The Sound of Music. For two reasons. Firstly, the beige-green jacquard print Jason Wu used. It’s similar to the curtain material that Maria fashioned clothes for the von Trapp children out of. Secondly, because the Jason Wu girl reminds me of Liesl. She’s beautiful – in a raised-in-the-Austrian-Alps kind of way. She’s glamourous – in a daughter-of-a-naval-captain kind of way. And she’s sophisticated – in a sixteen-going-on-seventeen kind of way. Beauty, glamour and sophistication. Now these are a few of our favourite things.
