Take a good look, as Isabel Marant’s new limited edition ‘La Montre’ watches are set to vanish the second they go on sale on NET-A-PORTER tomorrow. Whilst demand for a time piece from the queen of laissez-faire sex appeal will already be huge, Marant’s masses of fans should take special note as only a handful of these stainless steel, sapphire glass and supple black leather beauties will be available. Ok- ‘handful’ might be a slight exaggeration, but we’re prone to lustful exaggeration in the face of fineries residing at the top of our shopping lists. What we especially love about this design is the subtle borrowed from your boyfriend quality, or as Marant herself describes a lot better, it’s ‘androgenic’ effect. This a.) suggests you actually have a boyfriend, and b.) leaves your wrist looking a little daintier. How perfect.
