As wildly proud Londoner’s our bosom (already becoming more ample as Xmas approaches) is almost bursting with pride this afternoon, at the news of John Galliano’s return to London via Maison Martin Margiela. We’ve been squirming with excitement since word of his appointment at the house first broke back in October, and can finally settle down a bit, thanks to the fact that The Business of Fashion have just revealed the exact date for his ‘Artisanal’ collection debut. Not only do we now have January the 12th firmly penned in our diaries, but ‘around Tea Time’ completely clear for finally finding out whether Anna Wintour’s British Fashion Awards dress, did in fact contain any stylistic clues.
