New York: a concrete jungle where dreams are made of, where there’s nothin’ you can’t do, where the streets will make you feel brand new and big lights inspire you. According to Jay Z anyway. It’s also where the DKNY girl belongs. She’s a New York girl. Through and through. This season her wardrobe is a sea of funnel-necked sweatshirts, oversized tailoring and platform shoes (flats and heels) worn with white sport socks. Injected with a spot of Yves Klein blue and bright scarlet, the collection was cool, contemporary and quintessentially NYC.
