There were lots of references to children’s TV shows over at Jeremy Scott. Elmo the Patchwork Elephant in the patchwork, Where’s Wally? in the busy cartoon prints and Get Your Own Back in the gunge splatted on the models’ black bob wigs. This, combined with the brightly coloured tights and eye make-up, gave the collection a kaleidoscopic, slightly trippy feel. Not unlike a Katy Perry music video/Super Bowl performance As Natalie described, “an acid trip experienced through the eyes of a five year old.”
