I know that there is a limit to how many times we can channel SNL’s Stefon, but when it comes to Roberto Cavalli’s latest show it kind of applies. This collection has everything. Including a bohemian seventies, rock n roll groupie, a Jackie Collins heroine and a riff on Cher from Clueless. It’s dark. Black chiffon is printed with yellow florals and set against velvet. Sequins seem to glide off the body. Shirts are ruffled, sheer lace is embroidered and fringe is floor grazing. And did we mention the leopard? It’s classic Cavalli. A little bohemian, everything is cut to move with the body in a highly seductive fashion. It’s an uber sexy vision of the ultimate rock n roll woman.
