Gisele Bundchen has announced that she is hanging up her heels and retiring from the catwalk. The Brazilian supermodel who earns $128,000 a day (according to the Daily Mail) and has a net worth of over $320 million made the announcement via Instagram saying, “I am grateful that at 14, I was given the opportunity to start this journey. Today after 20 years in the industry, it is a privilege to do my last fashion show by choice and yet still be working in other facets of the business.” The show in question will be one in the Bundchen’s homeland, Brazil, at Sao Paulo Fashion Week. We thought we’d toast the model and her illustrious career with a photograph of her, shot by Inez and Vindooh and published in the Winter/Spring 2012/13 issue of 10. Words besides “PHWOAR” have failed us.
