Alexander Mcqueen Could Be On The New 20 Note

So the Governor of the Bank of England (a chap called Mark Carney) has announced that the new £20 note will feature someone from the world of arts. People, and by people I mean Ladbrokes, have drawn up a list of odds on who this person might be. Alexander McQueen is on the list. We think he would be an excellent choice. As does Alex Fury who said that he is the only designer who fully warrants the honour because, “he was a brave, uncompromising pioneer in design; because his clothes were engineered with a precision and invention that put his contemporaries to shame; because he led a French haute couture house to international critical acclaim and commercial success.” And we agree with Alex. Like we usually do. Anyway, I put together an artist’s impression of what this banknote might look like (breaking some sort of law in the process I think). Where Photoshop failed me, scissors and glue did not. Behold.
