The medley of sun dresses, trapeze dresses, shirts-come-sarong-like-wrap-skirts and flower-decorated pantsuits in Stella McCartney’s cruise collection was an essay in origami. Clothes origami, that is. All that folding, pleating and tying – it’s quite something. Even the backdrop had an origami-feel to it. The tailoring, through precise, felt relaxed and carefree. Which is exactly what we want to be this summer.
