Ports 1961 Pitti Uomo Ss16

Ports 1961 served up a platter of beef, brawn and bulk. Legs, arms and even man cleavages were exposed. Not that we’re complaining. The collection was very manly, but not just in its admirable display of meat and muscle. The designers had adopted masculine tropes; from the worlds of hip-hop, skateboarding and surfing. There was even a tunic, belted around the waist, that strongly reminded us of the military uniform of ancient Rome. As for details, the designers had embroidered panels of what looked like kente clothes down shirt, trousers – even trainers. Modern and irrefutably masculine.
