3.1 Phillip Lim cruise had an air of Brooklyn boho to it. Largely thanks to the incorporation of eyelet, fringe (of both the hair and thread variety), macraméé and raw seams. Not to mention the thigh high suede boots and clompy kitten heeled mules. Trousers were flared and slashed at the ankle; tops were cropped and sleeveless; and sleeves were bell-shaped. It felt a bit like what Jessa from Girls would wear – what she would wear if she received a six-figure windfall that is. It’s Brooklyn and rather bourgeois boho.
