10 Questions With Hale Zero As They Release Their Second Single ‘Supreme’

Can we confess that we’re obsessed? South London brother trio Hale Zero’s first ever original single, Obsessed, was released last autumn and it took the city’s dancefloors by storm. Hungry for more? This is your lucky day – their next single, Supreme, featuring British-Kenyan-Caribbean model and artist James Corbin is out now.

You can try to put a label on Carl, Greg and Rafael Haley (the boys who make up Hale Zero), but they’ll just keep surprising you with more. Eclectic DJs, musicians, fashion show soundscape producers, graphic designers… shall we continue? From teaching themselves how to play the piano, bass guitar and drums in their early days to studying graphic design at Central Saint Martins, Hale Zero’s blend of musical and visual expertise is a cocktail the trio has supremely mastered – pun intended.

We would know – Hale Zero has blessed a hefty handful of 10 Magazine parties with their high-energy sets, attracting guests right up to the decks with seamless tracklists crossing decades and genres. Banger after banger. They have become go-to composers for the luxury fashion set. They’ve scored dramatic, Mediterranean-infused shows for Dolce & Gabbana, minimalist, cinematic themes for Giorgio Armani and bold, textured soundscapes for Fendi. Louis Vuitton has also tapped them for event and campaign scores, making the trio a consistent presence behind some of fashion’s biggest moments. The list goes on, so let’s just say that it seems the luxury fashion industry has got a crush on the Haley brothers, and with good reason.

The success hasn’t changed them though – the trio’s commitment to their values and integrity is as unshakable as their dedication to immaculate nights behind decks. Always authentic and true to their craft, all of Hale Zero’s creative output is a perfect reflection of their vow to innovation, cooperation and artistic excellence. Ever since the beginning of their careers, the brothers have never failed to consistently push the boundaries of the contemporary soundscape world as we know it. Rumor has it they’re about to do it again, and with a body of original work larger than we’ve seen before. Starting today, with Supreme.

Their sophomore release, Supreme unleashes a richly rhythmic groove upon listeners. Combining Afro‑pop‑leaning percussion, smooth electronic layers and warm bass tones with a catchy chorus from Corbin, the confident yet relaxed track feels built for late‑night playlists and peak‑moment dance floors alike. “Remember I told you I am supreme,” they sing alongside Corbin, anchoring a memorable melody that rides the beat with effortless cool.

Beyond its groove, Supreme showcases Hale Zero’s knack for blending live instrumentation with cutting-edge production. Corbin’s vocals don’t just feature – they drive the track, adding a commanding, almost narrative layer to the afro-dance foundation. The interplay between deep bass, crisp percussion and layered electronic textures creates a dynamic tension, making the track feel alive from start to finish. With its peaks and drops crafted for maximum dance floor impact, Supreme is both a statement of intent for the trio’s 2026 artist campaign and a reminder of why they’ve become a staple in fashion, music and club culture alike.

Here, we speak with Hale Zero about all things Supreme, post-set cravings and the irresistible alchemy of a perfect setlist meeting a pulsing crowd.

1. Who are Hale Zero?

We’re three brothers: Carl, Greg and Rafael from South London, working as DJs, composers and artists. DJing is where people often meet us, but composition and design sit just as deeply in what we do. It’s one shared world. We’re just chasing the perfect vibe.

2. Describe your sound with one word each (three words total).

C: Energetic.

G: Versatile.

R: Immersive.

3. What was your favourite memory made while working on Supreme?

Probably when we finally got James into the studio and heard his vocal for the first time. We’d had the idea for a while, but it doesn’t always come out the way you imagined. With James, everything was exactly as we imagined it would be. It was great to finally realise the vision.

4. How does your professional collaboration impact your sibling dynamic? Has it changed your relationships for better or worse?

We’ve always been into the same things (art and music), and we’ve worked together for years as session musicians and producers. Hale Zero is just an extension of that. It’s definitely sharpened how we communicate and strengthened our relationship.

5. If you could collaborate with any artist, past or present, who would you choose?

Pharrell for his range and cultural impact. Someone like Virgil because of how he bridged disciplines. And maybe Quincy Jones for the pure musical legacy.

6. What’s one item each of you won’t leave the house without?

Carl: Headphones. Greg: Headphones, Raf: Headphones.

7. What three things are you taking with you to a desert island?

A solar-powered speaker.

A sketchbook.

An acoustic guitar.

8. What are each of your favourite songs right now?

C: N95 by Kendrick Lamar, it’s got that raw energy.

G: Vex Ohs by Kaytranada, super catchy and chill.

R: Creator by Santigold, always lifts the mood.

9. What would you say the key elements of a perfect set are?

A strong connection with the crowd, keeping the energy flowing naturally. Variety in genres to keep things fresh, without forcing it. And ending on a high that leaves everyone wanting more.

10. What’s next for Hale Zero?

More original music.

More collaborations.

Launching our art projects.

And continuing to build our world.
