Yes, Ms Eisner does all of the above within the 12 hours of sunshine an LA summer’s day offers her.
Seven in the winter. We’re assuming she’s working into the night, too. And yes, we’re insinuating that sunshine must give you a little more get-up-and-go, and that straddling multiple vocations must be part of some kind of LA state of mind. Probably not. We’re probably just feeling inadequate by comparison. Forever moving forward, spreading her creativity into new fields, Eisner is best described as an adventuress. An adventuress by appearances, too, with a mane of dark curls and lashings of statement jewels that seem to have been gathered from exotic expeditions. And an “I’ve been places and seen things” air that is part bohemian, part maharanee, and somehow always so effortlessly cool.
How long have you lived in LA?
“I have lived in LA for 28 years.”
Why did you move to LA?
“I moved to LA because of love. I got married and dragged here, and I’m happy I did.”
What’s your favourite thing to do in LA?
“My favourite thing is to be in my garden, or hike, or anything in nature.”
How would you define yourself?
“A lucky butterfly that flits around from flower to flower pollinating beauty – I use photography to be a voyeur and jewellery as sculpture.”
Why did you decide to do what you do?
“It’s what I do best and what is the most interesting thing to me.”
What would you say are the essentials to becoming famous in your profession?
“Well, you have to be curious and hungry.”
What do you do to relax?
“Go out in nature.”
What do you do for fun?
“I don’t do anything unless I’m having fun, so life is fun. I make it a priority.”
Is there anything you would like to but never seem to have the time?
“Yes. Get rid of 90% of my shit.”
What is the most ridiculous rumour you’ve heard about yourself? Is it true?
“None. Thank God I’m not famous.”
Have you “arrived”?
“Arrived where? That will never happen. Again, where would I arrive?”
Have you been to Disneyland? What was your favourite ride?
“Of course I’ve been to Disneyland – my favourite place on earth! Favourite ride – Haunted Mansion.”

“Health food washed down with champagne.”
