Witness the pretty new colours for faces from Chanel. Pale pinks and lilacs. Notice how vibrant they are in their paleness. That’s because they’re applied to skin that is clean. Squeaky. Clean skin is best for pale pastels. Clean skin allows pale pastels to shine. They’re the colour of fancy gelatos with names like strawberries and cream. The gelatos not the colours. If these came in a cone you would want to lick them.
