Have you seen the giant baby Trump inflatable floating around London? The American president’s arrival in our home town has us pining for the good ol’ days of freedom. Thank god for fashion, here’s something much more chic coming from America. Championing the spirit of true Americana, Calvin Klein with Raf Simons on the helm have launched a new label – and yes, it’s fucking amazing. Simply titled CALVIN KLEIN JEANS EST. 1978 is the unofficial revival of the CK Jeans, bringing all the colour, prints, and sass. Think Brooke Shields by Richard Avedon and blown-up prints of The Star-Spangled Banner – it’s bringing the joy of America that’s much needed right now. In addition to the more eye-catching printed pieces, the new line also features some wardrobe staples. Come September and all the white tees, plain denis and some pretty nifty accessories will be having a massive amount of cameos during Fashion Month. We obviously have our faves. It’s the photographic-printed denim twinset (because if you can’t match it – what’s the point?) that will make you look like a walking advertisement for the new Stephen Shore exhibition.
