We here at 10 love a wedding, we do. Whether it’s the chance to buy a new hat or the promise of an open bar, we can’t get enough. The upcoming Royal nuptials have got us into such a tiz that no about of souvenir biscuit tins or gossip rags can satisfy us and there are still 10 whole days to go! Save from getting married ourselves (and we were tempted) here we have the next best thing, a count down of 10 fabulous weddings, one each day until our future King and Queen of England tie the knot. Wahooo!
To start with, the (first) wedding of Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton. Yellow for a bride, how brave! She did always like to flout convention, our Liz. And she looked so beautiful, no wonder she got married so many times. Look how in love they are; one can only dream of this kind of romance, or indeed, the famous Taylor-Burton diamond, all 70 carats of it.
