COURTNEY LOVE’S BEAUTY TIPS
Another day and another famous person shares with us how they achieve beauty perfection. This time it is the goddess Courtney Love who is as intense about all things beauty as she is about everything else and sometimes, but not often, pencils in her eyebrows as at the moment she’s just really into wearing L’Wren Scott and not being controversial which might just be the most genius thing she has ever said. Really there’s no point trying to make sense of what she’s saying, it’s easier to just go to Into the Gloss and read it, but before you do are some particularly genius quotes from the interview, all taken completely out of context. On some beauty product:
“I actually got that from Uma Thurman, and who can complain about her fucking skin? This was back when she and I shared the same agent.”
On some other beauty product:
“All I know is that Cate Blanchett was pimping it before they were paying her to.”
On facials:
“I just want them to get all of the pus out of my face.”
On some Korean face mask:
“There’s even one for your titties. I haven’t done the boobs mask one yet—you just stick it on your tits, apparently. I have to try it. But I did the foot one and the hand one yesterday, and it makes my skin crazy. It’s like I just had sex for four days.”
On make-up:
“… and Lagerfeld was like, ‘You look like the 26 year-old perfect rockstar whore—but you are not 26. You are never going to get laid like that.’ And it was Karl Lagerfeld, so I was like, ‘OK.’ [Laughs]”
