Chanel shows generally are a real experience. The sets the clothes the hair the make-up the performances always challenge Karls creativity and offer every season a different perspective on the Chanel vision that inspires and takes us on another amazing journey. So as we sit in anticipation of whats to come in the turbine filled Palais the Chanel troops fill the catwalk. And what an amazingly concise exquisitely executed collection it was, tailored razor sharp classic in the code of Chanel but Modern. Wonderful short proportions,cropped jackets encrusted, ‘A’ line Silhouettes and the absolute perfection in the classic black Chanel suit which will send clients I am sure, clambering to the store to shop. The accessories were spectacularly wantable, brilliant reworked classic Chanel in primary colour combo’s in huge oversized scale and Sigrid’s one was my absolute favourite. I honestly couldn’t fault a single detail. Chanel as always and Karl Lagerfeld has raised the ante.
