We all wish we were rockstars. The look in French is called, um, “le Rock” – which doesn’t mean the wrestler-cum-movie star but rather the sort of garms Acne Studios showed in Paris. It went abstract at points. Crushed velvet was evocative of the inside of a guitar case, worn with Sex Pistols laddered knits and appliqués crafted from smashed CDs. Which gives us something to do with all our old ones in the age of the mp3.
