Danish artist FOS was responsible for the billowing, tented show space of Phoebe Philo’s spring 2016 show. They’ve worked together before, on furniture for Céline’s boutiques, the odd hodgepodge of pieces you desperately want for your own home. You may not, necessarily, have wanted the flipping canvasses in orange, yellow and Yves Klein blue for your own home, but you doubtless wanted Philo’s clothes. Because you always want them. This time you wanted the chantilly-dipped lingerie, the bold checkered tailoring, the softly draped jersey dresses wound with bold brass jewellery. Basically, everything.
